1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MyStorageBuddy ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

MyStorageBuddy provides a cloud-based storage organization and inventory management platform that allows users to generate QR codes, upload images, and track physical storage boxes.

2. Accounts and Registration

2.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Account Security

You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

2.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. User Content

3.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you upload to MyStorageBuddy, including images, descriptions, and inventory data ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

3.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any laws or regulations
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or obscene
  • Contains personal information of others without consent

3.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Plans

MyStorageBuddy offers various subscription plans with different features and limitations. Plan details, including pricing and box limits, are available on our pricing page.

4.2 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods after you have been notified.

4.5 Free Trial

Free trial plans are subject to limitations as specified on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free plans at any time.

5. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons at our discretion.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Upload viruses or malicious code

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by MyStorageBuddy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYSTORAGEBUDDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Data Backup

While we implement backup procedures, you are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of your User Content. We are not responsible for any loss or corruption of your data.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your User Content may be deleted. We are under no obligation to retain your data after termination.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyStorageBuddy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Severability and Waiver

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyStorageBuddy regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
